Our Vision
We envision a future where nature, humanity, and technology thrive together in perfect balance. Artificial intelligence becomes a trusted partner that nurtures diversity, deepens connections, and regenerates ecosystems. Our approach is guided by three essential Japanese concepts:
Wa (和)
The principle of harmony and peaceful unity, where diverse elements come together in balance.
Ma (間)
The concept of vital space between elements—the pause that gives meaning and allows for reflection.
Wabi-sabi (侘び寂び)
The aesthetic philosophy of finding beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and the natural cycles of growth and decay—embracing flaws and transience as essential aspects of authentic beauty rather than obstacles to overcome.
This vision draws inspiration from Expo 2025's Grand Ring architecture and the heartbeat-like rhythm of Myaku-Myaku, the expo mascot, symbolizing continuity and interconnection. We believe this initiative is about upgrading humanity and creating a new civilization built on abundance, peace, and connection, rather than isolation.
Thematic Pillars
Six interconnected themes will guide our discussions, workshops, and commitments: Each pillar will feature dedicated sessions led by global experts who embody both technical expertise and humanistic values, ensuring a holistic approach to AI development.
Harmony Across Systems
Designing AI to coexist with natural ecosystems, social systems, and technological networks.
Ma in Innovation
Embedding intentional pauses for reflection and co-creation in the AI development process.
Cultural Wisdom & Global Equity
Ensuring AI honors diverse traditions, languages, and perspectives.
Regenerative AI Economies
Building AI-driven business models that restore environmental and community well-being.
Trust, Transparency, and Accountability
Closing the global trust gap through openness and ethical governance.
Education for Co-Flourishing
Cultivating AI literacy and eco-social awareness in the next generation.
